Quick Facts: Name: Austin Huskey Class: IMCA Modified From: Lubbock, Texas A little about Austin: Austin finshed 5th in points locally and won rookie of the year in Luboock and also finished 8th in the rookie divison About Austin: Austin writes to Dirt Scoops, "My name is Austin Huskey! I started racing bikes at the age of 6, then started racing go karts when i was 8. I then moved to a street stock at 15, then moved into a modified at the age of 17. Racing is a family tradition for the Huskey family. I am the 4th generation driver in the Huskey family and we all have lived in Lubbock Texas all our life and plan to stay here and race with the best modified drivers around the west Texas area. My dad has put me through racing since we started; now that I'm 20, I plan to put him in an I-Stock in a few years. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be where I am today. Thanks so much dad!"
