Quick
Facts:
Name: Ryan Bowling
Car Class: Hornet
From? Brownstown, IN
Tell us how you got interested in
racing:
"I've grew up around racing. I've helped
my
cousin, Rick Gumm, since I was old enough to know what
a racecar was. This year I finally got a little bit of
money saved up and built a hornet. I've raced three times
so far and its been a blast."
Tell us about your family:
"My family is a huge help! Without
them it just wouldn't be possible. My mom, dad, and brother
Nathan are there for me every step of the way. My uncle
Rick has been a huge help as well. And I definitely wouldn't
be racing without the support from my cousin Rick Gumm."

List your career high lights:
"In my first 3 races this year i have
2 heat wins (1 at
Thunder Valley Raceway & 1 at Brownstown) and a 3rd
place feature win at Thunder Valley and a 4th at Brownstown"
Which one of your races stands out
the most in your mind and why:
"Brownstown. It has been a life long
dream just to pull out on that race track and compete.
Winning my heat race there beat all expectations I had
for that night, then to finish in the top 5 in the feature
was huge for me."

We all know it takes more than one
person to be successful in racing, who do you
feel contributes to your career success?
"My girlfriend Kelsey. She is there
for me
through it all. Good and bad. I couldn't do it without
her"
What tracks do you race at?
"Thunder Valley mostly. My work schedule
limits my racing because i work every weekend, but i will
be at Brownstown for a few races."
List your sponsors:
Underwood Auto Parts,
Jeff & Ann Hoevener,
Gumm Chassis,
Bills Tire Supply,
Celery Signs

Any special events or news for the
upcoming season you would like to share with your
fans?
"My main goal is to race at the fair
race at Brownstown. And if the car is
still in one piece, I wanna go to Farmer City, Illinois
in September for the 4cyl championship".
Do you have a web site so fans can
keep up on your progress? If so, what is the url?
Its in the making
Closing thoughts?
"If anyone out there has a dream to
go racing, do it. Its a blast."
Thanks for the interview Ryan and good luck!
