Tell us how you got interested in racing, and how long you have been in racing:

I grew up around racing my entire life. My Dad raced stock cars and when he gave up racing he worked with me and my brother racing go-carts. We raced all over the state for several years. In 2005 I was blessed with the opportunity to start racing
stock cars. I have worked hard each year to make improvements on and off the race track. Racing is a passion that is shared among the entire Anderson family, the team number 35 comes from my Dad's old racing number.

Tell us about your family:

I am married to Fay Anderson and have two children
Breanna and Blane. Thankfully they all enjoy racing as much as I do.

List your career high lights:

I won Rookie of the Year in 2005, In 2007 I won most
improved driver, 2008 I won the track championship, and have placed in the top 10 in points 4 out of the last 5 years at Paragon Speedway. In 2008 I won the Steve Bowlen Memorial race, and my second feature win came the following weekend.

Which one of your races stands out the most in your mind and why:

I would have to say that the race that stands out the most to me would be my first feature win in May of 2008. It was a hard fought win against Tony Walker whom which I fought every
week for the track championship.

We all know it takes more than one person to be successful in racing, who do you feel contributes to your career sucess?

My wife Fay backs me finically and
contributes however she can with working on the car. My Dad John works hard in the shop every night getting the car ready for the next week. Chris my brother helps
out every night at the track, working on setups and preparing the car for the next race. Through out the years there has been many drivers who have helped out with advice etc. The good Lord for giving me the ability to go out and race every week.

What tracks do you race at?

I race at Paragon Speedway, Brownstown Speedway, and
Lincoln Park Speedway.

What is the biggest challenge you have faced while racing?

The biggest challenge that I have found with racing is setting up the car for each race because the race track is different every time you go out. With so many adjustments that you can
make there is a big learning curve and it take years of experience to make the right
choice.

Who is your favorite driver, or your role model?

I can't say that I have a role model, but I enjoy watching Tony Stewart race because he is a true racer. He has the
ability to win in anything.
